Whitney Houston - Where Do Broken Hearts Go (1987)

  February 27, 1988 - 33 Years Ago Today: Whitney Houston had the Hot Shot Debut at No. 47 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with her single, "Where Do Broken Hearts Go." The Chuck Jackson/Frank Wildhorn-penned single began a two-week run at No. 1 on April 23, 1988 and became her record-breaking seventh consecutive single to go to No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. It was the fourth consecutive No. 1 from her second studio album, "Whitney," out of five singles released from the album. The single also became her sixth chart-topper on the Billboard AC Chart where it enjoyed a three-week run at the top.

USA for Africa - We Are the World (1985) - short version

  February 25, 1986 - 35 Years Ago Today: "We Are The World" won Song of the Year at the 28th Annual Grammy Awards. The Grammy won for songwriters Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.
