10cc - Run Away- montage music video with Luke & Laura -with end song credits

  Originally a UK single from 1982, written and produced by the late Andrew Gold, Eric Stewart & Graham Gouldman. Runaway is a 10cc single . It comes from their album Ten out of 10 . The single was only released in England. It is one of the songs written by Andrew Gold, Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman in the period that it looked like Gold became the producer of the album. That did not end and Runaway disappeared on the shelf, but appeared on the American version of the album. Runaway is used as Runaway (runaways) and Run Away (run away). The background choir is similar to the choir from I'm Not in Love . B-side was Action Man in Motown Suit , which featured both the European and American pressing of the album.   "Her Town Too" is a song written by James Taylor, J. D. Souther, and Waddy Wachtel, first released as a duet between Taylor and Souther on Taylor's 1981 album Dad Loves His Work. It was also released as a single in 1981, peaking at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] The song had entered the Hot 100 chart at #38, making it one of the few songs to enter the chart in the Top 40 but not reach the Top 10.[2] As of 2014, it is Taylor's last single to reach the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.[3] "Her Town Too" also reached #5 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and #21 on the Mainstream Rock chart.[1] The subject of "Her Town Too" is the aftermath of a breakup of a long term relationship.[4][5] Taylor has called it "a tender, well-meaning song about how difficult it was to be friends" with both parties after the breakup.[4] Since Taylor's marriage to Carly Simon was breaking up at the time, there was speculation that the song was abou

THROWBACK: CENTRAL LINE-WALKING INTO SUNSHINE

Central Line’s 1981 club hit “Walking Into Sunshine” was the zenith of their popularity in the United States and had the added prestige of being remixed by Larry Levan who played it at the Paradise Garage. Steve Salvari, Camelle Hinds,Henri Defoe, Linton Beckles, Lipson Francis and Jake Le Mesurier were a jazz funk band from London and they signed to Mercury Records in 1979 as Central Line. They emerged along with other jazz funk bands including Light Of The World and Incognito. Of the three albums they recorded, it was the song “Nature Boy” that was recognized most in their native London. All six members went in different directions when the band broke-up in 1984 with Steve Salvari being the only one to continue working in the music industry as a producer, musician and bandleader. Jake Le Mesurier passed in the ’90’s and lead singer and drummer Linton Beckles died in 2015.
