Collins & Collins

Collins & Collins were an R&B duo that consisted of siblings Tonee and Bill Collins. According to research, they were in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area where they were signed to A&M Records.

In 1980, the duo released their self-titled and only album; it’s unknown how or if the album charted at all.
The lead single, “Top of the Stairs” (which was written by Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson) peaked at #68 on Billboard’s Hot Soul Singles chart, staying on the chart for 6 weeks.

The follow-up single from the album, “You Made Me Believe” failed to make the charts. After that it seems as if Tonee & Bill Collins have faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what they are currently up to these days.
