Bruce Springsteen - Cover Me (1984)

August 11, 1984 - 37 Years Ago Today: Bruce Springsteen had the Hot Shot Debut at No. 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with his single, "Cover Me." This self-penned song was Springsteen's second single release from his No. 1 album, "Born In The U.S.A.," which eventually produced 7 Top Tens tying the record with Michael Jackson's "Thriller." "Cover Me," peaked at No. 7 on October 20, 1984 and was certified Gold. Bruce Springsteen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
